Playlists

Rename a playlist

The default labels (vertical, Playlist II, etc.) are generic. Rename them to "Morning", "Happy Hour", "Closed Hours", etc. so you can find them at a glance.

    Type the new name

The tab swaps to an editable input with a blinking cursor. Type something descriptive — "Lunch Specials", "Happy Hour", "After Hours". Keep it under 18 characters so the tab doesn't wrap on smaller screens.

    Press Enter to save

Press Enter (or click anywhere outside the tab). The new name replaces the default immediately and persists across sessions and devices.

Tips & Common Issues

  • Names are display-only — the underlying playlist number doesn't change, so existing schedule rules referencing Playlist II still work after renaming.
  • Use short labels. Long names get truncated on small screens and tablets.
  • The same workflow works for Menu slots — pencil icon, type a name, press Enter.
