Upload images and videos

Upload your own photos and short videos to use as backgrounds, product images, or full-screen tiles. They're stored in your gallery and reusable.

Before you start

  • Logged in to your dashboard
  • Image (JPG/PNG) under 5 MB or video (MP4) under 30 MB

    Open Upload Content

    In the left sidebar of the dashboard, click Upload content — Upload files & videos. The gallery uploader opens in the main area.

    Click "Choose File"

    Click the Choose File button to open your file browser, or drag a file directly onto the dashed drop zone. Pick an image or short video from your computer.

    Wait for the upload to finish

    A green progress bar shows you how much has uploaded. Larger videos take longer — don't close the tab until it reaches 100%, otherwise the file won't save.

    See it in your gallery

    When the upload completes, the file appears as a thumbnail in your gallery grid. From here you can rename, delete, or use it in any content tile that accepts custom images or videos.

    Use the file in a tile

    Open any content editor (Announcement, Advertisement, Menu, etc.). When the editor asks for an image, click the gallery picker icon and your newly uploaded file is right there waiting to be selected.

Tips & Common Issues

  • Recommended sizes: 1920×1080 px for full-screen tiles; 800×600 px for product photos. Larger files take longer to load on remote displays.
  • Allowed formats: Images — JPG, PNG, GIF. Videos — MP4, WebM. Avoid MOV and HEIC — convert them first.
  • Files are private to your account. No other Display Technology user can see your gallery.
  • Videos longer than ~30 seconds may not loop smoothly between playlist rotations — keep them short and seamlessly loopable.
