Create a Reminder

Reminders are timed notices — Happy Hour, daily specials, closing time. They're visually distinct from announcements so customers spot them quickly.

Before you start

  • Logged in to your dashboard

    Click an empty Reminder tile

    On any playlist tab, click an empty Reminder tile (bell 🔔 icon) — or pick the Reminder card from Create Content.

    Type the message and pick a warm color

    Use the TITLE for the main message ("Happy Hour Today") and SUBTEXT for details ("4–7 PM · Half-price drinks"). Reminders pop best in warm colors — red, orange, or yellow draw the eye instantly. Pick one from the palette or click custom color.

    Save, enable, and push

    Click Save. Toggle the tile On, then click UPDATE in the sidebar to push to all your displays.

    (Optional) Schedule it for specific hours

    Reminders are most effective when they're time-bound — e.g. Happy Hour only between 4–7 PM, daily specials only at lunch. Add a schedule rule that runs the playlist holding this reminder during the relevant window. See Schedule playlist play times.

Tips & Common Issues

  • •Reminders are most effective when they're time-bound — pair them with the Schedule feature so they only show during the relevant hours.
  • •Use one consistent reminder color across all your tiles (e.g. always orange) so customers learn to look for it.
