Create a Message

Messages are longer-form text tiles — perfect for staff updates, daily inspiration, or detailed information that needs more than a headline.

Before you start

  • Logged in to your dashboard

    Click an empty Message tile

    On any playlist tab, find an empty tile marked Message (chat-bubble 💬 icon) and click it. The Message editor opens.

    Write your message

    Use the optional Title for context (e.g. "Today's Quote", "Notice"). The Body is a larger text area — aim for under 50 words so it still reads from across a room. Pick a calm, high-contrast color combo (white text on near-black works wonders for long passages).

    Save, enable, and push

    Click Save. Toggle the tile On below the preview, then click the green UPDATE button in the sidebar to push the message to all your displays.

Tips & Common Issues

  • •Long messages are hard to read on rotating displays. Keep messages under 50 words; split longer content into multiple tiles.
  • •Avoid all-caps for body text — it's harder to read at a distance and feels like shouting.
  • •For super-short notices ("Now Hiring", "Closed Today"), use an Announcement instead — bigger headline, less body text.
